  • Keep your surroundings clear and safe from moving objects so that you can work peacefully.
Always keep yourself centered

Avoid holding items when climbing (consider using a tool belt)
  • Do not carry any loads or objects in either hand that can interfere with a firm grip on the ladder.
Use ladder on a firm ground
  • Do not stand ladders on moveable objects, such as pallets, bricks, lift trucks, tower scaffolds, excavator buckets, vans, or mobile elevating work platforms.
Always use slip-resistant footwear
  • You would not slip while working with the ladder.
